Quarantine body, a new bread recipe, maybe starting a knitting workshop? Unfortunately, the cinemas and theatres are closed. Are they not? Keep calm, our cultural improvement can continue online, thanks to modern times\u2019 invention: streaming. I have collected some of my favourite online theatre pieces, to recommend for You as a form of relaxation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-7445\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/hok\/files\/2020\/11\/promo-szinpadon-400x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"501\" height=\"282\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Let\u2019s start with one of the most famous theatre: the Mad\u00e1ch Theatre. They started their online theatre called \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sz\u00ednpadON<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d in November with a program called Mad\u00e1ch Decameron. Their main goal is to provide a possibility for entertainment to theatre lovers not only from Budapest, but from all around and beyond the country in this dreadful pandemic. You can only live stream their plays, watching the recording is not possible. They have two pieces on their program right now: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I Take Your Hand in Mine (\u00d6r\u00f6kk\u00e9 fogd a kezem) <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Same Time, Next Year (J\u00f6v\u0151re, veled, ugyanitt)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I Take Your Hand in Mine<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is a drama telling the story of Chekhov and his love, Olga Knyipper, based on their love letters. Before the play, we will be introduced to the protagonists and the literary time by Kriszti\u00e1n Ny\u00e1ry literature historian.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Same Time, Next Year<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is a comedy written by Bernard Slade, famous on Broadway and in many countries around the world. The protagonists of the story are Doris and George, who \u2013 although they are both married \u2013 spend a day in every year together. Over the years, their affair turns into a deep human relation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-7444\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/szinapszis\/files\/2020\/11\/performance_15748512849k-400x267.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"487\" height=\"325\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00d6rk\u00e9ny Theatre also offers online plays to theatre lovers: \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00d6rk\u00e9ny Stream<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d. They provide an interactive theatre experience: spectators can chat with each other, and in some cases, they will also organize meet-and-greets online. The experience is made even more memorable thanks to effects and film extracts and to special camera angels like body cameras.The spectators can also decide whether they watch the play from an angle chosen by the broadcasting director or choose the position by themselves. The program consists of three plays at the moment: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">My Mother\u2019s Hen (Any\u00e1m ty\u00fakja), Now Tell Me, Pista! (Azt mes\u00e9ld el, Pista!), <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ferenc Moln\u00e1r<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:The Swan (<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Moln\u00e1r Ferenc:<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> A hatty\u00fa)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now Tell Me, Pista!<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is an exceptional piece. \u201eWhat would happen if one day Istv\u00e1n \u00d6rk\u00e9ny (Hungarian Writer) appeared again, in an actor, in a theatre, sat down, took a breath and started talking about his life \u2013 sometimes standing up \u2013 and then disappeared again?\u201d This evening the writer appears in a body of an actor \u2013 P\u00e1l M\u00e1csai.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-7443\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/hok\/files\/2020\/11\/performance_1574848039kL-400x266.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"495\" height=\"329\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ferenc Moln\u00e1r: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Swan <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">is a comedy about the desperate efforts of the widowed Princess Beatrix, who wants to rebuild her family\u2019s power by forcing her daughter, Alexandra to get married. Funny and light-hearted amusement for another evening from the safety of your home.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 14pt\">The Magyar Theatre, Katona J\u00f3zsef Theatre, Comedy Theatre of Budapest, Operett Theatre of Budapest, and many others also offer online entertainment.
