{"id":19416,"date":"2026-04-08T18:51:40","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T16:51:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/hok\/?p=19416"},"modified":"2026-04-08T22:07:45","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T20:07:45","slug":"benefits-for-university-events-and-activities-of-exceptional-importance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/hok\/en\/2026\/04\/08\/benefits-for-university-events-and-activities-of-exceptional-importance\/","title":{"rendered":"Benefits for university events and activities of exceptional importance"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: center\">\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif';font-size: 18pt\"><strong>Call for applications<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif';font-size: 18pt\">to receive benefits for university events and activities of exceptional importance<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">In accordance with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/jogigfoig\/dokumentumtar\/szabalyzattar\/szervezeti-es-mukodesi-szabalyzat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Semmelweis University Organizational and Operational Regulations<\/a> Chapter III.4., Section 8\/B., The Committee for the Evaluation of Public Work Benefits of Semmelweis University (hereinafter: the Committee) announces a call for applications for the reception of benefits for university events and activities of exceptional importance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">I. SCOPE OF BENEFICIARIES:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Applications for the benefit may be submitted by applicants with an active student status at the University in the spring semester of the academic year of 2025\/2026 with the following restrictions:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">1, Benefits for <span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\"><u>university events of exceptional importance<\/u> may be received by students participating in full-time or part-time, undergraduate, graduate, and long-cycle courses, higher education vocational training, and doctoral training, if they have participated in at least one of the events listed below in a verifiable manner (e.g. via an attendance sheet) as an organizer, director, or helper:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\" role=\"presentation\">Educatio Expo 2026\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\" role=\"presentation\">Semmelweis University Student Research Conference (TDK) 2026<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\" role=\"presentation\">University Health Day\/Preventive Screening Programs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">2, Benefits for <span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\"><u>university activities of exceptional importance<\/u> may be received by students participating in full-time or part-time, undergraduate, graduate, and long-cycle courses, higher education vocational training, and doctoral training.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The application must have a report detailing the activities representing students&#8217; interests attached to it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The judgment of applications and the amount of the benefits allocated is proposed by the President of the Students\u2019 Union. The maximum amount of benefits assigned to typical tasks, responsibilities, and activities is determined by the Students\u2019 Union&#8217;s Assembly of Delegates and approved by the Committee.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Submission of data required to identify the Applicant and to examine whether they meet the criteria above is mandatory, in its absence the application cannot be submitted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The application may not be submitted if the Applicant was determined by the Committee or another officer or organization at the University with the purpose of investigating other breaches of laws or regulations (e.g. ethics committee) to have submitted untrue information during a previous application, or to have misled those in charge of judging applications in any other way.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">II. HOW TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">1. Location of submission:<br \/>\nApplications can be submitted via Neptun, under the \u201cRequests\u201d menu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">If the form is unavailable via Neptun at the time of the announcement, the application must be submitted via a form on the University&#8217;s website, attached as an appendix to the announcement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">2. Time period of submission:<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">The application period for university events and activities of exceptional importance in January-March 2026:<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">\n<div class=\"fontos_div\">\n<h5><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">April 1st-7th, 2026<\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">The application period for university events and activities of exceptional importance in April 2026:<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">\n<div class=\"fontos_div\">\n<h5><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">May 1st-7th, 2026<\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">The application period for university events and activities of exceptional importance in May 2026:<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">\n<div class=\"fontos_div\">\n<h5><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">June 1st-7th, 2026<\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">The application period for university events and activities of exceptional importance in June 2026:<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">\n<div class=\"fontos_div\">\n<h5><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">July 1st-7th, 2026<\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Failure to comply with the time limit shall lapse the right for submission. There is no possibility to correct any mistakes or missing documents. However, in cases when the Applicant&#8217;s name, contact information or bank account number was written incorrectly, or said data changed in the meantime, the Applicant has the right to modify\/amend\/correct their application. The application is individual, so in the case of group applications, it is necessary for each student participating in the group activity to submit a separate application.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">III. CRITERIA AND DEADLINE FOR ASSESSMENT; BODY OR PERSONNEL EMPOWERED TO ASSESS THE SUBMISSION:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The evaluation of applications and the determination of the awarding and the amount of the benefit is carried out by the Committee, with consideration towards its financial framework.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\"><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">The amount of benefits<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">\n<div class=\"fontos_div\">\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">for university events of exceptional importance is 1 500 HUF,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'pt serif'\">for university activities of exceptional importance is 1 500 HUF.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The applicant is not eligible to receive benefits for an activity for which they have already received benefits based on another application reviewed by the Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Provisions regarding payment:<\/p>\n<p>For successful applicants, payment is dependant on the recipient having the bank account number of an account that is capable of receiving payments in Hungarian forints set as default in Neptun. The bank account number may be set and payment may be received until the end of the semester.<\/p>\n<p>The details of the awarded benefit (the legal basis for the benefit, the amount of the awarded scholarship) will be recorded in the Neptun system.<\/p>\n<p>2. Repayment of the scholarship:<\/p>\n<p>A scholarship recipient who fails to meet or only partially meets the requirements set forth in the call for applications is obligated to repay the full amount of the benefits received by them, or the portion affected by the breach of contract, within 8 days of receiving a relevant notice by the university, alongside the default interest in accordance with the Hungarian Civil Code (Ptk.).<\/p>\n<p>The recipient is obligated to repay the benefit in full if it is determined that they provided false information for the evaluation of the application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IV. OTHER INFORMATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Data Processing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By submitting their application, applicants consent to the processing of the data provided in the application by the committee specified in Section III, the person or body conducting the appeal, as well as by the University\u2019s employees authorized by its internal regulations to handle the evaluation, the adjudication of objections, the management of payments, and the fulfillment of the University\u2019s record-keeping obligations.
