The UMCG is one of<br \/>\nthe best hospitals in the Netherlands. At the ISCOMS students can present their<br \/>\nresearch either as a moderate poster, as an oral presentation or as a plenary<br \/>\npresentation. Accompanying the presentations we offer a broad range of workshops<br \/>\nand lectures from key-note speakers. Students can visit the congress either as a<br \/>\npresenting participant or as a non-presenting participant. Furthermore, there is an<br \/>\nextensive social programme.<\/p>\n<h3>Last year<\/h3>\n<p>ISCOMS is a truly international congress: in 2008, 706 students from 54 different countries<br \/>\nattended the congress.<\/p>\n<h3>This year<\/h3>\n<p>In 2009 our aim is to attract a higher quality of research from an even wider range of countries.<br \/>\nWe are proud to present two Nobel prize winners as key-note speakers this year! Prof. dr.<br \/>\nFerid Murad and Prof. dr. Robin Warren will both give an interesting lecture at our congress.<br \/>\nThis year we pay special attention to the expansion of our dentistry programme.<\/p>\n<h3>Opportunities<\/h3>\n<p>To make the congress more accessible for international students, presenters can apply for<br \/>\na travel grant. These will be awarded to a selected number of students.
