{"id":18555,"date":"2025-07-16T12:58:58","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T10:58:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/hok\/?page_id=18555"},"modified":"2025-07-16T13:01:41","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T11:01:41","slug":"call-for-applications-scholarship-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/hok\/en\/applications\/call-for-applications-scholarship-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Applications \u2013 Scholarship Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mahidol University (Bangkok) and Semmelweis University have launched a student exchange program, offering the opportunity for clinical practice <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">for two senior (5th or 6th year) medical students<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">between <\/span><b>March 2 and March 28, 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The selected students will have the opportunity to apply for the <\/span><b>Pannonia Scholarship<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which provides <\/span><b>465,000 HUF<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in financial support for this period.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Costs to be covered by the participating students:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Round-trip airfare<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Health insurance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Personal travel insurance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Medical liability insurance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Living and personal expenses (meals, books, transportation, clothing, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Visa fee<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">General medical examination and required vaccinations<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The aim of the program is to provide students with hands-on clinical experience in a hospital setting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Application requirements<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (all documents must be submitted in <\/span><b>English<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">):<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Completed application form<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Motivation letter<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Curriculum Vitae<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">English credit transcript from Year 1 onwards and certification of active student status<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The application form can be downloaded here:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2024\/01\/palyazati_adatlap_2024_EN.docx\"><b>https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2024\/01\/palyazati_adatlap_2024_EN.docx<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview in English.
