Az IUPS a vil\u00e1g t\u00f6bb mint 60 nemzeti \u00e9s region\u00e1lis \u00e9lettani t\u00e1rsas\u00e1g\u00e1t fogja \u00f6ssze, \u00e9s a fiziol\u00f3gia tudom\u00e1ny\u00e1nak glob\u00e1lis erny\u0151szervezete. Az elismer\u00e9st 1978 \u00f3ta n\u00e9gy\u00e9vente adj\u00e1k \u00e1t a tudom\u00e1ny\u00e1g kiemelked\u0151 kutat\u00f3inak.<\/p>\n<div class=\"keretes w-100\">\n<p>Az elismer\u00e9st Robert F. Pitts amerikai \u00e9lettan-kutat\u00f3r\u00f3l nevezt\u00e9k el, aki \u00fatt\u00f6r\u0151 munk\u00e1t v\u00e9gzett a ves\u00e9k sav-b\u00e1zis egyens\u00falyban bet\u00f6lt\u00f6tt szerep\u00e9nek felt\u00e1r\u00e1s\u00e1ban. A d\u00edjat kor\u00e1bban olyan neves tud\u00f3sok kapt\u00e1k, mint Walter F. Boron (Wayne State University, USA, 1993), akit az orvosi \u00e9lettan tartanak sz\u00e1mon \u00e9s a vil\u00e1g vezet\u0151 \u00e9lettani tank\u00f6nyv\u00e9nek szerz\u0151je, Dennis Brown (Harvard Medical School, USA, 2013), aki a rangos Physiological Reviews f\u0151szerkeszt\u0151je volt; Pascal Houillier (INSERM, P\u00e1rizs, Franciaorsz\u00e1g, 2017) vagy Alicia A. McDonough (University of Southern California, USA, 2022).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Az idei d\u00edjazott dr. Hegyi P\u00e9ter el\u0151ad\u00e1s\u00e1ban huszon\u00f6t \u00e9vnyi, a hasny\u00e1lmirigy-vezet\u00e9kek iontranszport mechanizmusainak meg\u00e9rt\u00e9s\u00e9t c\u00e9lz\u00f3 kutat\u00f3munk\u00e1j\u00e1t \u00f6sszegezte. Munkacsoportj\u00e1val els\u0151k\u00e9nt igazolta, hogy a hasny\u00e1lmirigy bikarbon\u00e1t-szekr\u00e9ci\u00f3ja nemcsak stimul\u00e1l\u00f3, hanem g\u00e1tl\u00f3 mechanizmusokon kereszt\u00fcl is szab\u00e1lyoz\u00f3dik. Hegyi \u00e9s munkat\u00e1rsai bizony\u00edtott\u00e1k, hogy a CFTR feh\u00e9rje j\u00e1tssza a k\u00f6zponti szerepet a hasny\u00e1lmirigy gyullad\u00e1sos betegs\u00e9geiben. Eredm\u00e9nyeik arra is r\u00e1mutattak, hogy a jelenleg ciszt\u00e1s fibr\u00f3zisban alkalmazott CFTR-modul\u00e1torok nemcsak genetikai hib\u00e1k korrig\u00e1l\u00e1s\u00e1ra alkalmasak, hanem az alkohol \u00e1ltal kiv\u00e1ltott feh\u00e9rje-folding \u00e9s aktivit\u00e1si zavarok kezel\u00e9s\u00e9re is \u00edg\u00e9retesek. \u201eA k\u00f6vetkez\u0151 l\u00e9p\u00e9s az, hogy ezeket az eredm\u00e9nyeket hum\u00e1n klinikai vizsg\u00e1latokban is igazoljuk.
