With this program the HMAA contributes and provides broad medical knowledge<br \/>\nto young Hungarian physicians who are entering the Hungarian health care system.<\/p>\n<p>Students may take the following electives: Internal Medicine \u2013 Endocrinology; Hospitalist; Pediatrics \u2013 Child Neurology; Neurosurgery; Neurology;  Surgical Oncology; Medical Oncology; Neuroradiology\/Radiology; Dermatology; Gyn-Oncology; Psychiatry<br \/>\nPlease note that these electives are subject to availability at the time of the rotation.<br \/>\nFinancing:<br \/>\nStudents are expected to cover:<br \/>\n\u2022\tRound trip air transportation<br \/>\n\u2022\tCost of books, materials if required<br \/>\n\u2022\tHealth insurance<br \/>\n\u2022\tMeal costs (some Buffalo departments provide meal tickets for use in the<br \/>\nhospital)<br \/>\n\u2022\tMedical liability (coordinated by HMAA)<br \/>\nStudent housing is provided by the HMAA in Buffalo. Please note that max. 4 students may participate at one particular rotation. Once you have given us your preferred rotation time (eg. January 2014) there is a limited possibility to change it later. All possible changes of rotation times are coordinated by Semmelweis University.<br \/>\nSelected applicants are encouraged to submit an application for financial support to the HAESF.<br \/>\n(Hungarian American Enterprize Scholarship Fund). The deadline for applications for the July and October 2013 rotations is 1 April 2013 and for the January and April 2014 rotations 15 October 2013.<br \/>\nStudents who receive a scholarship from HAESF are expected to pay USD 150 a month each to offset some of the costs. The malpractice insurance for 3 months is appr.
