Dear Colleague Tulassay,<\/p>\n

the German papers are reporting that you have stepped down\u00a0as rector in protest over the ministry being displeased with\u00a0your investigation of the P\u00e1l Schmitt plagiarism case.<\/p>\n

I applaud your courage in continuing the investigation and\u00a0then stepping down!<\/p>\n

I have been researching plagiarism in Germany for the past\u00a0decade, and am active in the VroniPlag group that is trying\u00a0to point out the massive amounts of plagiarism in so many\u00a0doctoral theses in Germany.<\/p>\n

I am glad that someone in Hungary is taking a stand – thank\u00a0you!<\/p>\n
