To this end, the doctoral students participating in the programme will do their doctoral research at the doctoral school but in collaboration with the business sector.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">A total of more than HUF 4 billion in funding has been awarded to 150 applicants from 17 Hungarian universities under the Cooperative Doctoral Programme. The programme provides substantial funding to support doctoral research in cooperation with businesses, encouraging market-driven scientific career development and boosting Hungary\u2019s innovation competitiveness.<\/div>\n<div id=\"tartalom\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The scholarship programme supports the scientific careers of talented young Hungarians, tailored to the R&amp;D needs of industry and technology sectors. Almost 90 percent of the programme\u2019s budget will be used to support students in STEM+ (science, technology, engineering, maths, computer science, agriculture, medicine, health and arts). It also has a significant biotechnology capacity and plays a major role in the development of gynaecological products. The development and launch of a new, original drug is a significant event in the life of every pharmaceutical company and an important step forward in the treatment of certain diseases. This is also why original research is of great importance in the implementation of Richter&#8217;s strategy. The company is committed to work and fund projects that bring new, innovative therapies to patients worldwide.
