Notification about Change of Tax Number<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Partner,<\/strong><\/p>\n

We would like to inform you<\/strong> that Semmelweis University (registered office: 1085 Budapest, \u00dcll\u0151i \u00fat. 26., institutional ID number: FI 62576) and some of its affiliated companies are scheduled to form a VAT group as of January 1, 2025<\/strong>. Under VAT regulations, on the invoices issued after January 1, 2025 to companies that are part of the VAT group, and for transactions with a completion date after January 1, 2025 both the VAT group tax number and the customer\u2019s individual tax number must be indicated.<\/strong> Please note that upon the establishment of the VAT group, the 9th character of the individual tax numbers of participating companies will change to \u201c4.\u201d<\/p>\n

If the invoice does not include both tax numbers or if the tax numbers are indicated incorrectly, we will not be able to accept the invoice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other than the tax number, there are no changes to any other details or contact information of Semmelweis University or the other companies belonging to the group. Invoice acceptance shall continue as before, with the only difference being the data required to be present on the invoices as stated above.<\/p>\n

From January 1, 2025, the VAT group represented by Semmelweis University will have the following tax numbers:<\/p>\n

EU VAT group tax number: HU17784234<\/strong><\/p>\n

Important note: Semmelweis Kiad\u00f3 \u00e9s M\u00e9dia Kft. and Semmelweis Technol\u00f3giai Transzfer K\u00f6zpont Zrt. will not<\/strong> be part of the VAT group. Their tax numbers and invoicing processes remain unchanged. For these two companies, the group VAT number shall not<\/strong> be indicated on invoices.<\/p>\n
