If the vaccination record is missing, or it shows fewer than two Hepatitis B (Engerix B) doses, an official certificate confirming the vaccinations is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Documents to be handed in at registration<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of High School Diploma \/ Secondary School Leaving Certificate or of its English translation,<\/li>\n<li>a copy of passport\/identity card,<\/li>\n<li>a copy of residence permit (if you already have one)<\/li>\n<li>Photo (2 passport size photos)<\/li>\n<li>Personal Details Form filled and signed (you are going to receive it on site),<\/li>\n<li>Declaration signed (you are going to receive it on site).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><em>Please note that registration is possible only if the registration and tution fees are paid.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>After the registration, the administration of the following will take place:<\/p>\n<div class=\"exp-col-content-holder\"><a class=\"expand-cnt-link\" href=\"#\">Health Insurance<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"hidden-content\">\n<p class=\"hiddenContentp\" style=\"text-align: justify\">A special insurance is provided for our students, and its fee is included in the tuition fee. The service includes an English-speaking call centre, GP-service and treatment at the Polyclinics and Clinics of Semmelweis University. As long as you pay your tuition fee each semester and you are a registered active student, this insurance is automatically renewed until the end of your studies. The Hungarian health insurance provided by the University is only valid from the date of enrolling at the University. The health insurance is automatically suspended if the student registers for a passive semester. <strong>Please note that the health insurance and the card will be available in mid-September, the earliest after the activation of your Neptun account.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>and<\/p>\n<div class=\"exp-col-content-holder\"><a class=\"expand-cnt-link\" href=\"#\">Student Card (&#8222;Di\u00e1kigazolv\u00e1ny&#8221;)<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"hidden-content\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Students need to activate their current semesters in Neptun. Without the semester activation, the student card application cannot be started.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">After the activation, students need to go to the Government\u2019s Office that Issues Documents (in Hungarian: Korm\u00e1nyablak) and apply for a \u2018NEK\u2019 document for student card. Passport is required. They will take a photo of you and have your main data registered. Please return the \u2018NEK\u2019 document to the Foreign Students Secretariat and the Office will finish the application.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">The Secretariat will inform the students if the plastic student card has arrived. It may take 6 months to go through the process.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Students can have a temporary student card. A temporary Student Card (an A4-format certificate valid for two months) will be given by the Foreign Students&#8217; Secretariat in mid-September the earliest. You can use the temporary card until the issuance of a permanent one. Please bear in mind that student discounts (e.g. at public transport) can be only claimed in the possession of a temporary or permanent card, so you will need to use regular fare tickets in the first month. With the temporary student card, students are entitled to buy students\u2019 monthly tickets for the public transport (metro, bus, tram, trolley, H\u00c9V). Ask for a DI\u00c1KB\u00c9RLET, buy railways or long-distance bus tickets at a reduced price, access a number of services and discounts (e.g. <br \/>\nlibrary services, sport facilities, various travel, cultural and commercial discounts, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Opening Ceremony and the Freshmen\u2019s Oath<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Opening Ceremony and the Freshmen\u2019s Oath will take place on <strong>06 September 2026<\/strong>. Freshmen are obliged to participate. Invitation cards are sent in Neptun Educational System.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Introduction to Higher Education course<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It is compulsory for every full-time student to attend the \u2018Introduction to Higher Education Studies\u2019 course on <strong>16 September<\/strong>. The course is a prerequisite subject with no credit value, and it is necessary to complete it in order to obtain the absolutorium (pre-degree certificate).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Subject registration<\/h3>\n<p>Subject registration opens for the English-languge programs on <strong>26 August 2026, 8pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Medical examination<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Students are required to take part in an aptitude test.
