The student also acquires a knowledge-based perspective on human biology and health. As future healthcare professionals, our students need to understand all levels of structure and organization in a healthy human body, the basic principles of its physiology, how environmental factors may act on our health, and understand the need for prevention and its possible methods. The goal is that by completing the subject, the student will be able to recognize the connections related to the above and partially apply them in practice. In addition, the goals of the subject also include providing a solid base for other health science subjects to build on, the development of synthesizing and at the same time analysing thinking in biology and health related topics. Theoretical and practical knowledge promotes professional participation in curative, preventive and care activities and appropriate professional communication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Biochemistry<\/strong><br \/>\nLearn the biomolecules needed for basic biochemical processes in the body. Be able to recognize and analyse relationships, professional development, innovative thinking, and accurate information on patients based on professional knowledge. Being able to use biochemical knowledge to work safely in the field of diagnostics and work independently. The subject intends to offer the biochemical fundamentals necessary to learn biology-physiology-pathophysiology subjects. Its task is to raise students&#8217; interest, to acquire the chemical-biochemical vocabulary and the necessary biochemical basic knowledge.
