“Interdisciplinary Health Promotion” Erasmus Blended Intensive Training Program

 Aims of the course

  • To provide a better understanding of the factors that influence people’s health behaviour;
  • The basics for developing and implementing health promotion interventions;
  • Familiarise with the evidence-based protocol for health promotion intervention “Intervention Mapping”;
  • It is conceived as multidisciplinary and international to bring together different disciplines and health topicsallowing students to think outside of the box.


  • How does socioeconomic status affect health?
  • Why do people are healthier than others?
  • Why do patients comply (or not) with our treatment plans?

Who can apply?

All students of the Faculty of Health Sciences from Grade 2 BSc level

Applicants shall be committed to finish their eaxms for the fall semester by January 30 2023.

Cost and application procedure

Students receive 70 EUR per day for their 5-day stay in Ghent (some applicants can qualify for additional financial support as well)

Applicants will be selected on the basis of a personal interview to be held at 10 am. 2 December.
