A vizsg\u00e1lat keret\u00e9ben logisztikus regresszi\u00f3val elemezt\u00fck az influenza \u00e9s influenza (al)vari\u00e1nsai elleni v\u00e9d\u0151olt\u00e1s-eredm\u00e9nyess\u00e9g\u00e9t 0-14, 15-64, \u226565 \u00e9ves korcsoportok, valamint az influenzaolt\u00e1s c\u00e9lcsoportja szerinti bont\u00e1sban. A betegek bev\u00e1logat\u00e1shoz kiz\u00e1r\u00f3lag azokat a helysz\u00edneket vett\u00fck figyelembe, ahol az ARI esetdefin\u00edci\u00f3t haszn\u00e1lt\u00e1k.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Az IVE becsl\u00e9sek \u00f6sszehasonl\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1t a k\u00e9t esetdefin\u00edci\u00f3 (ARI \u00e9s ILI) szerinti csoportban v\u00e9gezt\u00fck. Az elemz\u00e9sbe bevont \u00f6sszes ARI eset 90%-a az ILI esetdefin\u00edci\u00f3nak is megfeleltehet\u0151 volt (ARI: 24\u00a0319 p\u00e1ciens, ILI: 21\u00a0804 p\u00e1ciens). A teljes vizsg\u00e1lati popul\u00e1ci\u00f3ban az influenza (al)vari\u00e1nsok szerinti VE legfeljebb 2%-ban t\u00e9rt el az ILI \u00e9s ARI betegk\u00f6r k\u00f6z\u00f6tt. Az eredm\u00e9nyek azt jelzik, hogy a 2022-23-as influenzaszezonban a VE-t jelent\u0151sen nem befoly\u00e1solta az elt\u00e9r\u0151 klinikai esetdefin\u00edci\u00f3 alkalmaz\u00e1sa a toborz\u00e1s sor\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">*VEBIS: Vaccine Effectiveness, Burden and Impact Studies<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>Exploring the effect of clinical case definitions on influenza vaccine effectiveness estimation at primary care level: Results from the end-of-season 2022-23 VEBIS multicentre study in Europe <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/span><em>Marine Maurel<\/em> (Epiconcept),<em><br \/>\n<\/em><em>Esther Kissling <\/em>(Epiconcept),<em><br \/>\n<\/em><em>Beatrix Oroszi <\/em>(National Laboratory for Health Security, Epidemiology and Surveillance Centre, Semmelweis University, Budapest),<em><br \/>\n<\/em><em>Gerg\u0151 T\u00fari <\/em>(National Laboratory for Health Security, Epidemiology and Surveillance Centre, Semmelweis University, Budapest),<em><br \/>\n<\/em><em>Judit Krisztina\u00a0Horv\u00e1th <\/em>(National Laboratory for Health Security, Epidemiology and Surveillance Centre, Semmelweis University, Budapest)<em><br \/>\n<\/em><em>and VEBIS study team<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong><u>Abstract<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/span>For studies of influenza vaccine effectiveness (IVE) in the primary care setting, different clinical definitions may be used for patient recruitment, such as the European Union (EU) acute respiratory illness (ARI) and the EU influenza-like illness case (ILI) definitions (the latter includes a subset of patients meeting the EU ARI case definition) (Figure).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Our research analyzes the 2022-23 end-of-season data from the VEBIS* European multicentre study in primary care setting to determine how various clinical definitions impact influenza vaccine effectiveness. We used logistic regression to measure vaccination effectiveness against influenza and influenza (sub)variants by age groups 0-14, 15-64, \u226565 years and by influenza vaccine target group. We only considered study sites that used the ARI case definition for patient selection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The IVE estimates were compared for the two groups according to each case definition (ARI and ILI). There was 90% overlap between patients meeting the EU ARI and the EU ILI (ARI: 24,319 patients, ILI: 21,804 patients). According to our results, the effectiveness of the influenza vaccine was 2% or less different between ILI and ARI patients. \u00a0The results indicate that the VE estimates in the 2022-23 influenza season did not differ significantly when using a different clinical definition for recruitment.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">*VEBIS: Vaccine Effectiveness, Burden and Impact Studies<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Vaccine.
