Similarly to the past four years, the Directorate of Communication and Event Management has prepared unique, electronic postcards that can be downloaded from the website of Semmelweis University. This year there are three holiday season postcards available in English, and by clicking here<\/a> you can also have access to the postcards written in Hungarian, and to last year’s postcards.<\/p>\n

You just have to click on \u201cDownload\u201d to save the chosen postcard. In case you need any help, you can find useful technical guidelines below.<\/p>\n

The pictures can be sent as an attachment of an e-mail in Novell Groupwise, but you can also copy and paste it at the end of the text of your e-mail in the e-mail body. By using the \u201cWallpaper\u201d function, it is also possible to write your personal message on the postcard itself. (You may read the technical guidelines below.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Technical guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n

n case you would like to send the postcard not only as an attachment, then after opening a \u201cNew Mail\u201d, you will need to set the HTML format (if it is not the default format) in the \u201cView\u201d menu. An editing menu list will appear above the text body with different icons out of which you can click on either the \u201cInsert picture\u201d or \u201cWallpaper\u201d icons, and you can choose and insert the previously chosen picture. The size of the inserted picture can be modified \u2013 click on the picture and then click on the square appearing in the corner, afterwards resize the picture according to your needs by keeping the mouse button continuously down.<\/em><\/p>\n

In case you choose the \u201cInsert picture\u201d option, the message typed in the e-mail body will either appear before or after the picture. In the case of \u201cWallpaper\u201d the text of your e-mail will be written on the postcard itself. It is important to pay attention to the layout and the size of the text. In case the recipient uses plain text format, the postcard will be seen as an attachment.<\/em><\/p>\n
