This year Semmelweis University has been ranked as the 631<sup>st<\/sup> in this list, with which it is currently the best biomedical university in Hungary.<\/p>\n<p>Among the Hungarian institutions, similarly to the results of last year, E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University has been ranked as the 488<sup>th<\/sup>, Semmelweis University as the 631<sup>st<\/sup> and Debrecen University is the third Hungarian university in the ranking with its 661<sup>st<\/sup> place. The following Hungarian universities can also be found in the list: University of Szeged (708<sup>th<\/sup> place), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (850<sup>th<\/sup> place) and University of P\u00e9cs (877<sup>th<\/sup> place).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-8824\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2016\/07\/RS44266_KA-20160202-IMG_3879-scr-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"RS44266_KA-20160202-IMG_3879-scr\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2016\/07\/RS44266_KA-20160202-IMG_3879-scr-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2016\/07\/RS44266_KA-20160202-IMG_3879-scr-450x300.jpg 450w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2016\/07\/RS44266_KA-20160202-IMG_3879-scr.jpg 950w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>CWUR ranks the universities on the basis of eight aspects: the quality of education; the carrier achievements of alumni; the excellence of teachers; the number of publications; the impact factor and the number of patents. The quality of education is measured on the basis of the number of international awards received by the graduated students of the given institution.
