{"id":5759,"date":"2015-07-31T10:20:20","date_gmt":"2015-07-31T08:20:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/?p=5759"},"modified":"2015-12-11T10:38:40","modified_gmt":"2015-12-11T09:38:40","slug":"semmelweis-university-among-the-worlds-best-universities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/2015\/07\/semmelweis-university-among-the-worlds-best-universities\/","title":{"rendered":"Semmelweis University among the world\u2019s best universities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest <a href=\"http:\/\/cwur.org\/2015\/\" target=\"_blank\">list <\/a>of university ranking has been published by the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), which contains six Hungarian universities, including Semmelweis University.<\/p>\n<p>The list is drawn up based on the quality of education, the excellence of staff, the employment rate of graduate students, the number of publications, citation index and the number of patents. The quality of education is measured on the basis of the awards former students have obtained and the rating of student employment is based on the number of higher positions occupied at the world\u2019s leading companies.<\/p>\n<p>The first three places of the list, just like last year, were taken by Harvard, Stanford and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The six Hungarian Universities that are among the best thousand are E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University ranking 458<sup>th<\/sup>, Semmelweis\u00a0University\u00a0ranking 617<sup>th<\/sup>, University of Debrecen ranking 667<sup>th<\/sup>, University of Szeged ranking 731<sup>st<\/sup>, Budapest University of Technology and Economics ranking 819<sup>th<\/sup> and the University of P\u00e9cs ranking 892<sup>nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>N-M.
