The event brought together university leaders, institutional coordinators, student representatives, and experts from across the Alliance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Semmelweis University was represented by a delegation of seven:\u00a0Kata P\u00fcski, Director General for Strategic Organizational Development,\u00a0Dr. Mikl\u00f3s\u00a0Kellermayer, Director of the Department Institute of Biophysics and Radiation Biology; Dr. Tam\u00e1s Heged\u00fcs, Director for International Relations and Alumni Affairs; Dr. \u00c1d\u00e1m Orosz, Assistant Professor at the Department of Biophysics and Radiation Biology; and Fanni Matyasovszki, International Expert and\u00a0EUniWell\u00a0Institutional Coordinator at the Directorate of International Relations and Alumni Affairs. The Semmelweis local Student Board was represented by Dr. M\u00e1rk Havasi, Member of the\u00a0EUniWell\u00a0Student Executive Team, and Ace\u00a0Pagkaliwangan, local Student Board Member.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>A platform\u00a0for\u00a0strategic\u00a0exchange\u00a0\u00a0<\/h5>\n<p>The biannual Rectors\u2019 Assemblies are among the most important governance forums within the\u00a0EUniWell\u00a0Alliance, providing an opportunity for member institutions to\u00a0align\u00a0strategic priorities and reflect on ongoing initiatives. This year\u2019s spring event, hosted by the University of Konstanz, served as a key platform for strategic dialogue, focusing on advancing collaboration in research, education, and societal engagement, all centered\u00a0around the shared goal of improving well-being.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1777451752178.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-48032\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1777451752178-400x267.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1777451752178-400x267.jpeg 400w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1777451752178-900x600.jpeg 900w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1777451752178-1536x1024.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1777451752178-753x502.jpeg 753w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1777451752178-203x135.jpeg 203w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1777451752178.jpeg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a>The Assembly opened on the\u00a0April 22 with preparatory meetings of the Institutional Coordinators and the\u00a0EUniWell\u00a0Board. Later that day, the\u00a0program\u00a0continued with a welcome reception and boat cruise on Lake Constance. The program was enriched \u00a0by scientific insights from the University\u2019s Limnological Institute.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The second day of the Assembly featured a closed Rectors\u2019 Assembly session dedicated to strategic discussions among university leadership, followed by an open session that invited broader participation. The open\u00a0program\u00a0included keynote lectures on the concept of\u00a0\u201ctogetherness\u201d\u00a0and its implications for European cooperation, as well as a series of parallel workshops focusing on teaching, research, and diversity.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>These sessions\u00a0emphasized\u00a0the importance of interdisciplinary approaches and highlighted the need to translate shared values into concrete joint actions within the Alliance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The day concluded with a wrap-up session\u00a0summarizing\u00a0key outcomes, followed by a networking dinner on the\u00a0island of\u00a0Mainau, further strengthening ties among participants.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>Well-Being on Campus: sharing best practices and engaging communities\u00a0<\/h5>\n<p>The <em>\u201cWell-Being on Campus\u201d<\/em>\u00a0initiative on the final day of the event showcased best practices from across\u00a0EUniWell\u00a0partner universities and encouraged dialogue between academic communities and local stakeholders.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1776960239334.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-48031\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1776960239334.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1776960239334.jpeg 2048w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1776960239334-400x267.jpeg 400w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1776960239334-900x600.jpeg 900w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1776960239334-1536x1024.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1776960239334-753x502.jpeg 753w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2026\/05\/1776960239334-203x135.jpeg 203w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Semmelweis University\u2019s experts actively contributed\u00a0by presenting two initiatives:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square\">\n<li>Kata P\u00fcski presented the poster\u00a0<em>\u201cThe University as a Life-Course Friendly Workplace,\u201d<\/em> highlighting Semmelweis University\u2019s Family-Friendly University programs and their role in supporting employees across different life stages.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Dr. \u00c1d\u00e1m Orosz introduced the poster\u00a0<em>\u201cCultivating Connections, Strengthening Communities,\u201d<\/em> presenting the Biopsychosocial-Spiritual (BPSS) model for well-being used at the Semmelweis Institute of Mental Health, as well as the upcoming joint EUniWell master\u2019s program named\u00a0<em>Well-Being Oriented Healthcare<\/em>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By connecting institutional strategies with real-life campus initiatives, the program underlined EUniWell\u2019s commitment to embedding well-being into everyday university life.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>Semmelweis University\u2019s importance within the Alliance\u00a0<\/h5>\n<p>Semmelweis University was actively represented at the Assembly, contributing to both strategic discussions and collaborative exchanges.
