The application <strong>deadline is September 25, 2025,<\/strong> and each proposal must involve collaboration between at least four EUniWell member universities.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euniwell.eu\/what-we-offer\/seed-funding-programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seed Funding Programme<\/a> is one of EUniWell\u2019s flagship initiatives, providing financial and institutional support to kickstart long-term, impactful projects that contribute to the mission of improving well-being in academic and societal contexts. Proposals that align with the alliance\u2019s strategic objectives and Thematic Arenas (Health and Well-Being, Social Equality, Sustainability, Culture, and Teacher Education) are strongly encouraged.<\/p>\n<p>Priority will be given to proposals that:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square\">\n<li>Demonstrate long-term sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Deliver innovative educational, research, or societal impact<\/li>\n<li>Involve active student participation<\/li>\n<li>Align with EUniWell\u2019s thematic focus areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Why Apply?<\/h5>\n<p>The Seed Funding Programme offers more than financial support \u2013 it provides participants with the chance to develop their ideas in an international academic environment, build lasting professional networks, and gain practical experience in collaborative, interdisciplinary project work.<\/p>\n<p>Selected projects benefit from visibility across the EUniWell network and beyond, contributing to professional development and providing a solid foundation for future international cooperation.<\/p>\n<h5>Highlights from Previous Semmelweis-Led Projects<\/h5>\n<p><strong>SFC7: iHera<\/strong><br \/>\nLed by Semmelweis students, the iHera project promotes awareness of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Through interactive trainings, educational materials, and sensitization campaigns, the project fosters a more empathetic, health-conscious atmosphere in university communities. Participants included Pana Djamtorki, Tina Shahsavari, Dr. X\u00e9nia Gonda, \u00c1gnes Alexandra Ger, G\u00f6k\u00e7e Can, and Dr. Kinga Gecse, representing the Faculty of Dentistry, the Department of Clinical Psychology, and the Department of Pharmacology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SFC6: OER.pro<\/strong><br \/>\nThis project aims to promote the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) among EUniWell universities, enhancing the accessibility and transparency of teaching materials, and strengthening international collaboration in higher education. Semmelweis University is represented by Dr. Zolt\u00e1n Lantos from the Department of Methodology for Health Promotion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SFC6: TRAUMA2<\/strong><br \/>\nThe TRAUMA2 project investigates how trauma impacts various dimensions of well-being, particularly in university settings. It focuses on resilience, self-awareness, and community-based support as key factors in post-trauma recovery, especially among young adults.
