Zoubeir Badulla, a second-year medical student at Semmelweis University, has a robust social media presence with 131,000 and 34,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok, respectively. His online platforms depict the everyday ups and downs of a medical student through study hacks, POV, and comedy videos, some of which have reached over a million views.<\/div>\n

Zoubeir Badulla graduated in his native Mauritius during the Covid lockdowns. As he was searching for possible university destinations, an acquaintance of his recommended Semmelweis. He opted for the medical university in Budapest after visiting the capital for a month. Choosing this profession, on the other hand, was a no-brainer. As an athletic kid, an avid swimmer, and a horse rider, he was a frequent guest at hospitals, where his doctors\u2019 professionalism and hospitality made him fall in love with medicine. As a member of the Semmelweis Students’ Scientific Association (TDK) conducting research in cardiology and analyzing plaque samples from endarterectomy surgeries, his dream specialization is cardiac surgery.<\/p>\n
