Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Dr. Judit M\u00e9sz\u00e1ros conferred the diplomas after the students had taken the oath. The students officially became graduates upon shaking hands\u00a0with the Rector of Semmelweis University, Dr. \u00c1goston Sz\u00e9l.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This year, 37 nurses, 44 dietitians, 92 physiotherapists, 14 ambulance officers, and 48 midwives graduated from the Hungarian-language programmes. 30 public health inspectors and 14 health visitors obtained their diplomas in the Bachelor of Health Care and Disease Prevention programme. Additionally, 8 diagnostic imaging analysts and 27 optometrists graduated from the Faculty, while 8 physiotherapists earned their degrees in the English-language programme. At the graduate level, 22 students obtained a Master in Nutritional Sciences and another 15 students in Nursing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3171 alignright\" style=\"line-height: 18px;font-size: 16px\" alt=\"Dean's address\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2013\/07\/Deans-address.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dean Judit M\u00e9sz\u00e1ros noted in her speech that the occasion was a celebration not only for the students, but for the professors as well. The dean underlined that \u201cthis day will surely change the lives and fates of the over 300 students and their families. You might think that rigorous work, examinations and failures occurred too often in the past three years. Success was less frequent. Because I have heard that here at Semmelweis University\u2019s Faculty of Health Sciences we have too many rules, that life is too rigorous. However, all that, and the very high expectations were and are for your benefit only \u2013 witness the results!
