With 95 percent of the valid votes from the Assembly of Delegates, B\u00e1lint Tripolszky won the 2022 Presidential Elections, thus gaining their trust again after two years, so he can continue his work in the Students\u2019 Union (H\u00d6K). “My program promises nothing more than to continue the work of the past two years with unbroken enthusiasm,” he said.<\/div>\n

Attila Sz\u0171cs and B\u00e1lint Tripolszky competed in front of the Assembly of Delegates at the session of the Presidential Election Assembly held on May 13th. In the first part of the meeting, the two presidential candidates presented their program and plan to the Delegates elected by the students, who, after a secret ballot, elected B\u00e1lint Tripolszky as the old-new President of Semmelweis University\u2019s Students\u2019 Union. After his victory, he said he would like to continue to work to preserve the results he had achieved so far and to develop an even more student-friendly environment at Semmelweis University.<\/p>\n

“After re-gaining students\u2019 trust, there is one thing that primarily motivates me: all the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years at the University and the community, encourages me to give as much of it back to the community as possible,” Tripolszky said.<\/p>\n

B\u00e1lint Tripolszky is a fifth-year student of the Faculty of General Medicine (\u00c1OK), who has been working at H\u00d6K since the beginning. Following his election in 2020, he reformed the Students\u2019 Union in several fields and strengthened the relationship between students and the University and University leaders. In his current presidential program<\/a>, he summarised his achievements so far in 300 points.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Among his key achievements, he said that following his election in 2020, he has reformed the Students’ Union in several areas and deepened the relationship between students and the university and its leaders. His legacy includes the total internationalization of the organization, the creation of the Green University Project, the complete revision of the Constitution (to allow for more efficient and transparent operation), the coordination of student volunteering and work during the COVID epidemic, the expansion and support of Self-active Groups. support, the adoption of four new types of scholarships, and the introduction of a Year Representative system.<\/p>\n

After his election, the members of the Assembly of Delegates also voted for the Vice Presidents: F\u00e9lix Tak\u00e1cs as General Vice President, Csenge Gecsey as Event Planning Vice President, dr. Zsombor M\u00e1ty\u00e1s Papp will continue his work as Educational Vice President.<\/p>\n

The other members of the Presidium \u2013 Faculty and Committee Heads \u2013 are delegated by B\u00e1lint Tripolszky in accordance with the Articles of the Constitution. Omid Naderi is the first international student to be elected to the board of H\u00d6K. “I am sure that his presence will help the H\u00d6K’s internationalisation project. Noel Nyariki, who is graduating this year, will be replaced by Imre Nagy, who will take over the GYTK (Faculty of\u00a0Pharmaceutical\u00a0Sciences)\u00a0in August,” B\u00e1lint Tripolszky wrote on his Facebook page.\u00a0<\/p>\n
