Katalin Kov\u00e1cs also brought home a silver medal in the women\u2019s kayak double 500m event with Natasa Douchev-Janics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The other gold medal was secured by Rudolf Dombi (Physical Education and Coaching major) and Roland K\u00f6k\u00e9ny in the men\u2019s kayak double (K2) 1000m.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Aside from Kov\u00e1cs, Fazekas and Dombi, five other Semmelweis University students earned medals at the 2012 Olympic Games. \u00c9va Csernoviczki (Physical Education and Coaching major) was the first to win Hungary a medal in London, bringing home bronze in the women\u2019s 48kg judo.
