The institution received 6,000 Pfizer vaccines before the long Easter weekend in order to launch a vaccination campaign and get as many expectant mothers protected as possible across the country. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Until <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">6 <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">April, 2021, those <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">women <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">who are in the second, third trimester, or have given birth within six months and already have a GP or gynecologist recommendation to receive the vaccine and are registered on the Vaccine Info interface c<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">ould <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">request an appointment at the phone numbers listed in our article. Only those who have been <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">provided with<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> a <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">preliminary <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">appointment should arrive at the vaccination points so that vaccination can be carried out safely without significant waiting.<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Semmelweis University started vaccinating pregnant women <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">one week ago, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">on <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">27 <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">March, 2021, with the permission of the National Chief Medical Officer. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The university <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">has set up separate vaccination points for <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">pregnant women<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, and they will be allowed to advance in line at other vaccination points, if possible. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Up to now<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, 3,962 expectant mothers \u2014 2,645 pregnant and 1,317 breastfeeding mothers \u2014 have received the vaccine.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fontos_div\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Over the long Easter weekend, the university has launched another vaccination campaign: Semmelweis vaccination sites for pregnant women <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">who are in the second or the third trimester <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">and mothers <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">who have given birth<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> within six months (after <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">1 <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">October, 2020) <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">may<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> request an appointment for the period up to <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">6 <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">April, 2021. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">These women should already <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">have a recommendation issued by a general practitioner or gynecologist that they can be vaccinated, and are registered on vakcinainfo.gov.hu. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Prenatal care documentations<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> will also be requested at the vaccination points from those arriving <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">for an appointment<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">. Please only arrive at the university vaccination points if you have requested an appointment in advance. After that, from <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">7 <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">April, 2021, in accordance with the national procedure, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">the university can welcome<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> pregnant women and <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">breastfeeding<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> mothers assigned by general practitioners at the vaccination points of Semmelweis University. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Starting from <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Wednesday, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">please do not contact the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">above numbers, but visit the GP who will arrange the vaccination for all eligible persons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Meanwhile, Semmelweis University continues to vaccinate those eligible for vaccinations, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">assigned by their <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">GPs, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">therefore<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> there is a smooth reception of those already scheduled for the long weekend. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">O<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">n Thursday , <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">the university<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> successfully vac<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">cinated teachers delegated to university vaccination points.
