The 1<\/span>st<\/span> and 2<\/span>nd<\/span> Department of Ped<\/span>iat<\/span>rics of <\/span>Semmelweis University <\/span>await those who are interested on the occasion of the next Semmelweis Health Days event organized on 25 <\/span>March, <\/span>entitled \u201c<\/span>Children in the <\/span>f<\/span>amily: <\/span>f<\/span>rom <\/span>b<\/span>irth to <\/span>a<\/span>dulthood\u201d. In addition to the most important childhood diseases, the online event will focus on the healthy nutrition of <\/span>little children<\/span>, as well as <\/span>there will be <\/span>a demonstration <\/span>on <\/span>resuscitation and <\/span>infant movement development.<\/span> Participation in the event is free, but <\/span>a <\/span>pre-registration is required.<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

During<\/span> the <\/span>online<\/span> event <\/span>held <\/span>on 25 March, <\/span>the two Departments of Pediatrics<\/span> of Semmelweis University will <\/span>prepare a total of twenty presentations, as well as <\/span>provide <\/span>related consultation opportunities, demonstrations of movement development and resuscitation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among other things, physicians of<\/span> the <\/span>1<\/span>st<\/span> Department of <\/span>Pediatric<\/span>s will speak about<\/span> what newborns see and feel in the first hours of their lives, how children can live a full life <\/span>with diabetes<\/span>, what is the difference between stomach pain and inflammatory bowel disease, what happens in the pediatric emergency department, or just what vitamins a child needs. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In addition <\/span>to this<\/span>, <\/span>presentations will also be held<\/span> on childhood liver disease<\/span>s<\/span>, liver transplantation and nocturnal respiratory support.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"The 2<\/span>nd<\/span> Department of Pediatrics <\/span>has compiled similarly diverse and useful presentations, <\/span>from the<\/span> specialists <\/span>of which<\/span> parents <\/span>may receive <\/span>an answer to, for example, what baby crying warns about, what is calcium <\/span>good for and in what cases it should be avoided<\/span>, whether children need to eat meat to avoid being anemic. <\/span>The importance of recognizing tumors <\/span>at an early stage <\/span>will be highlighted as well as childhood musculoskeletal disorders, or the prevention of childhood obesity and the role of a healthy diet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the guidance of physiotherapists, mothers can follow the movement development of their babies and join the demonstration session with their babies in front of the screen. For the sake of the development of movement in childhood, the professionals will present such special gymnastics exercises with which young children can learn the correct posture either sitting in front of the computer or at the school desk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those interested <\/span>will<\/span> also <\/span>have the opportunity to see<\/span> an infant and child basic resuscitation demonstration and also learn why a chest pressure should be performed differently for an adult and a child.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
