PhD students of the Institute of Translational Medicine, Dr. Fl\u00f3ra Antali and Dr. D\u00e1niel Kulin shared the main prize of the Most Innovative Lecture of the DOSZ Health Sciences and Innovation Conference. In accordance with the epidemiological measures, the ceremony was held with a limited number of participants, during which Dr. P\u00e9ter Ferdinandy, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of Semmelweis University, awarded the main prize to the recipients. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The most innovative presentations were awarded at the first DOSZ Health Sciences and Innovation Conference organized by <\/span>the <\/span>Association of Hungarian PhD Students (DOSZ) and the Doctoral Students\u2019 Union of Semmelweis University.<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on the abstracts <\/span>presented<\/span> in the event, the main prize of the Most Innovative Lecture and the accompanying <\/span>Semmelweis University <\/span>250 commemorative medal w<\/span>as<\/span> awarded to t<\/span>wo <\/span>PhD students <\/span>of<\/span> the Institute of Translational Medicine, <\/span>D<\/span>r. Fl<\/span>\u00f3<\/span>ra Antali and <\/span>D<\/span>r. D\u00e1niel Kulin <\/span>as a recognition of <\/span>their presentations on their research <\/span>about<\/span> the SCN4ALL (Scan for All) telemedicine system (preparatory teacher: Dr. Zsuzsanna Mikl\u00f3s, <\/span>A<\/span>ssistant <\/span>P<\/span>rofessor at the Institute of Translational Medicine).<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"The SCN4ALL telemedicine system enables regular monitoring of the cardiovascular system, which can easily be done at home as well. The reliability of the telemedicine system is currently being studied in several patient groups (e.g. disorders related to gestational pathology, cardiovascular patients, post-COVID patients). The cardiovascular parameters of patients recovered from COVID-19 infection are being monitored by GPs as part of an ongoing project approved by the Operational Staff. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. D\u00e1niel Kulin presented the results of an article already published at the conference (\u201cPreclinical, Multi-Aspect Assessment of the Reliability of a Photoplethysmography-Based Telemonitoring System to Track Cardiovascular Status\u201d), which includes an examination of the reliability of the SCN4ALL system. <\/span>Dr. Fl\u00f3ra Antali presented the results of an article currently under review on the verification of HRV (heart rate variability) values <\/span>i<\/span>n the SCN4ALL system.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\r\n [slb_exclude]\r\n
