Under this initiative, messages can now be sent online as well to future Semmelweis Citizens. The collected letters are to be opened and read by our successors in 2069, at the university\u2019s 300th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cLetters to the Future\u201d program was launched at the opening ceremony of the jubilee 2019\/2020 academic year, under which anyone can send messages to future Semmelweis Citizens in the year 2069. While initially letters could be dropped in collection boxes set up at various events of the anniversary year, from now on \u2013 adapting to the pandemic situation \u2013 the electronic form below can also be used to send messages to the future.
