In the framework of the virtual opening of the Sino-European Institute, the book launch of a new book entitled \u201cStudy in Hungary\u201d was being held on November 12. The book provides a comprehensive overview about our country and the Hungarian higher education institutions; its publication is an important milestone in the further reinforcement of the Hungarian-Chinese relations. According to the plans of Semmelweis University and the Sino-European Foundation of Chinese Culture and Education, more Chinese students would have the opportunity to study at the university\u2019s training programs. <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

On the occasion of the event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Sino-European Foundation of Chinese Culture and Education, Dr. Orsolya Pacsay-Tomassich, State Secretary for the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy and for the Stipendium Hungaricum Program, said that the publication of this book is an important milestone in the further reinforcement of the Hungarian-Chinese relations. The book entitled \u201cStudy in Hungary\u201d by all means fills in a gap, because it provides a comprehensive overview about our country and the Hungarian higher education institutions \u2013 said she. Besides Hungarian literature, culture and sport, the book also provides a description about Hungary\u2019s natural beauty, the diversity of the continuously developing Hungarian-Chinese relations, especially highlighting Stipendium Hungaricum and Hudec scholarships, which provide an opportunity for Chinese students to study in Hungary. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Sino-European Foundation opened three agencies in Beijing this year: the aim of the education organizer and promotion agencies is to provide an opportunity to many Chinese students to continue their studies in Hungary and to contribute to the dissemination of Hungarian higher education in China – said the State Secretary.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Among the participants of the event, there were leaders of Hungarian higher education institutions and Chinese organizations; the agencies of the Sino-European Institute of Beijing; Zhang Wei, author of the book entitled \u201cStudy in Hungary\u201d; as well as Anny Gao, President of the Sino-European Institute. The Embassy of the People\u2019s Republic of China in Hungary was represented by Wang Zheng, Cultural Attach\u00e9; and Semmelweis University was represented by Dr. Marcel Pop, Director of International Relations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Semmelweis University started the negotiations with the Sino-European Foundation this year in order to be able to provide an opportunity to even more Chinese students to continue their studies in the university\u2019s training programs in the near future.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
