{"id":20811,"date":"2020-03-12T21:56:15","date_gmt":"2020-03-12T20:56:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/?p=20811"},"modified":"2020-03-13T21:45:39","modified_gmt":"2020-03-13T20:45:39","slug":"r-1-2020-no-iii-11-rectors-instruction-on-the-procedures-and-notification-obligation-for-trips-abroad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/2020\/03\/r-1-2020-no-iii-11-rectors-instruction-on-the-procedures-and-notification-obligation-for-trips-abroad\/","title":{"rendered":"RECTOR\u2019S INSTRUCTION No. R\/1\/2020 (III.11.) on the procedures and notification obligation for trips abroad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>\u00a0RECTOR\u2019S INSTRUCTION No. R\/1\/2020 (III.11.)<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">On the procedures and notification obligation for trips abroad<\/p>\n<p>In order to provide seamless and coordinated preventive measures against the novel coronavirus infection, Dr. S\u00e1ndor Pint\u00e9r and Dr. Mikl\u00f3s K\u00e1sler ministers and co-presidents of the Government Operative Staff appealed to the heads of healthcare institutions and requested that staff of the institutions <strong>suspend or postpone their trips abroad for the duration of the epidemic<\/strong> to ensure the life, safety and health of their families and patients. I also have to draw attention to the fact that preserving the health of healthcare workers is a matter of national security.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, acting within the scope of my competence defined by I.1 part 3. \u00a7 (12) of Semmelweis University\u2019s (hereinafter: University) Organisational and Operational Regulations, I hereby issue the following provisions:<\/p>\n<p>(1) I hereby order all citizens of <strong>Semmelweis University (students, faculty members, employees) to postpone their official trips abroad. Official travel may only be initiated in possession of the Rector\u2019s permission.<\/strong> Requests for permission can be submitted to <a href=\"mailto:utazas.corona@semmelweis-univ.hu\">corona@semmelweis-univ.hu<\/a>. For professional communication with international partners use alternative means of communication (eg. teleconferencing).<\/p>\n<p>(2) In case of both official and private travels, on the first working day following your return \u2013 in case of returning from China, South-Korea, Iran or Italy 14 days prior to your arrival \u2013 you are required to fill in the questionnaire found in present instruction\u2019s appendix and send it electronically to your employer or to the dean in case of students. In order to provide proper patient care services, please contact the hospital hygiene staff indicated in the University\u2019s questionnaire.<\/p>\n<p>(3) Students and employees, who have been in countries that are at risk according to international communication, should be ordered to pursue e-learning or if possible, work from home for a period of 14 days.
