\u201cThis building is my second home, I have been working here since I was 28.\u201d, said Mrs. Krusovszki, Chief Nurse of the department reserved for women at the Department of Ophthalmology.<\/p>\n

She used to spend a lot of time at the department as a child as she often accompanied her mother to work, who was a nurse as well. The Christmas celebrations at the department are one of her dearest memories of her childhood so she took over as the organizer when she started to work here.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Krusovszki found it difficult to choose her favourite place, as she has many memories, knows every nook and cranny at the department and feels at home everywhere, however, she said she favoured the patio of the women\u2019s department.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we want to have a personal chat with colleagues, we always come here. It is good to pause for a few moments, sort out your thoughts and admire the garden of the Inner Clinical Block.\u201d, she said.<\/p>\n\r\n [slb_exclude]\r\n

She also likes the pictures on the walls of the stairwell, especially the ones depicting nature, as she herself loves to hike and spend her free time in nature.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the carnival in kindergarten I dressed up as a nurse, I have been preparing for my career since I was 5 years old. So I may say, my job is my hobby.\u201d, she said.<\/p>\n

She leads a team of 9 nurses and has witnessed a lot of changes over the 43 years of her employment, however she feels to be the member of a big family.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Krusovszki had worked at the 1st<\/sup> Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for ten years before starting to work at the children\u2019s department at the 2nd<\/sup> Department of Ophthalmology at the age of 28. After ten years of employment, she was transferred to the men\u2019s department where she worked together with her mother for six years. Currently she is the Chief Nurse at the women\u2019s department, where elderly patients demanding a lot of attention and requiring longer therapy are cared for.<\/p>\n
