<\/a>The inauguration ceremony, which took place in the city of Harbin in China, was attended by the head of the host university, as well as Ambassador M\u00e1t\u00e9 Pesti and Lili Sikl\u00f3s, Science and Technology Attach\u00e9. Semmelweis University was represented by Dr. Zolt\u00e1n Zsolt Nagy, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and Dr. L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Rosivall, President of the Semmelweis Memorial Committee. Dr. Shahrokh Mirza Hosseini, producer of the Semmelweis film supported by the memorial committee, also participated at the event. The statue of Semmelweis was created by Tibor Rieger, Kossuth Prize-winning sculptor.<\/p>\n
