Following the appointment of Dr. Attila Szab\u00f3, Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs, as president of the Clinical Center (KK), the ten-member presidency of the KK has been re-established. Dr. J\u00e1nos R\u00e9thelyi and Dr. Istv\u00e1n Tak\u00e1cs have joined the body as new members.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The new members of the Presidency of the Clinical Center have accepted their letters of invitation. Previously, Dr. Attila Szab\u00f3, Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs, was a member of the ten-member body before taking over as president of the KK, while Dr. L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Tam\u00e1s, the director of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, has been named rector\u2019s commissioner in charge of IT affairs.<\/p>\n

The new members of the body are Dr. J\u00e1nos R\u00e9thelyi, director of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, and Dr. Istv\u00e1n Tak\u00e1cs, director of the 1st Department of Internal Medicine. The other members remain the same: Dr. N\u00e1ndor \u00c1cs, acting director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Dr. J\u00e1nos G\u00e1l, director of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy; Dr. Bal\u00e1zs Hank\u00f3, Vice-Rector for Strategy and Development and the chief pharmacist of the Clinical Center; Dr. P\u00e9ter Nyir\u00e1dy, director of the Department of Urology; Dr. Gy\u00f6rgy Sz\u0151ke, director of the Department of Orthopedics representing the Andr\u00e1s Pet\u0151 Faculty; Dr. Zsolt Zolt\u00e1n Nagy, director of the Department of Ophthalmology representing the Faculty of Health Sciences; Dr. P\u00e9ter Hermann, director of the Department of Prosthodontics representing the Faculty of Dentistry; and Dr. Eszter Sink\u00f3, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Health and Public Administration.<\/p>\n

The president of the KK is responsible for the organization of the health care service, and the Clinical Center includes all organizational units of the university that engage in healing, prevention and rehabilitation patient care activities, as well as additional organizational units that perform activities closely related to the operation of health care services. The Presidency of the Clinical Center is an advisory body providing support for the president and is led by the president. Another organizational unit under the direct management of the president of the Clinical Center is the Directorate General of Professional Leadership and Management, which has been led since the end of last year by Dr. J\u00f3zsef Gajd\u00e1csi.<\/p>\n

As the supervisory institution, the Ministry of Human Capacities approved in November 2018 the appointment of Dr. Attila Szab\u00f3, the director of the 1st Department of Pediatrics and since July 1, 2018 also the vice-rector for clinical affairs, as the president of the Clinical Center.<\/p>\n
