A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Semmelweis University\u2019s Andr\u00e1s Pet\u0151 Faculty and the Mexican National System for Integral Family Development (DIF) on a more widespread adoption of the conductive pedagogical method in Mexico. Negotiations on the possibilities of professional cooperation between the leaders of the two institutions began this February.<\/p>\n
Dr. Andrea Zsebe, Dean of the Andr\u00e1s Pet\u0151 Faculty, and Eszter Dar\u00f3czy, Dean’s Representative for\u00a0International Relations at the Faculty, analysed the practical possibilities of professional cooperation at the more than ten-year-old Con Nosotros Centre for Conductive Development. The parties agreed that the faculty would regularly delegate conductors in order to professionally supervise the conductive development in the Mexican institution and to renew the programme. The goal is to involve adult patients with nervous system injuries in the pedagogical development at the current centre and at an additional 32 sites.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Dr. Andrea Zsebe met with the leaders of Emiliano Zapata Technological University of Cuernavaca. During the negotiation, they discussed the opportunities of professional training as well as student and faculty exchange between the two institutions.<\/p>\n
