nd<\/sup> Department of Pathology. The program provided an opportunity for Japanese professionals to extend their knowledge related to post mortem pathological diagnostics. Thanks to Dr. Tibor Glasz, the professional course is very well-organized. The Japanese pathologists, who have very few opportunities to carry out autopsies in Japan, appreciated the practice-oriented focus of the program. In the framework of the one week long course held between July 31 and August 5, 2017, the participants participated in histological and cytology consultations and had to prepare reports. The professional reputation of the training program is proven by the fact that 5 autopsies out of the 9 carried out by the participants during the course is recognized by the Japanese Society of Pathology at the Japanese pathology qualifying exam. <\/a>On the basis of the cooperation signed earlier this year, in April, 6 students of Gulf Medical University (United Arab Emirates) attended a summer training programme organized by Semmelweis University. During the 1-month summer training programme, students had the opportunity to learn more about the University Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Administration at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as about the Department of Oral Diagnostics, the Department of Conservative Dentistry, the Department of Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, the Department of Periodontology, the Department of Prosthodontics and the Department of Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery and Stomatology at the Faculty of Dentistry. The students attended lectures and they had the opportunity to participate in the daily patient-care processes coordinated by Dr. \u00c1gnes M\u00e9sz\u00e1ros and Dr. Fruzsina N\u00e9meth at the two faculties. At the request of this year\u2019s students, participating students in the future will have the chance to learn more about several professors\u2019 daily work during their practice.<\/p>\n
