The 2-day event was opened by Dr. P\u00e9ter Nyir\u00e1dy, director. The lectures held by the physicians and researchers of the Department of Urology provided information on the latest methods and principles in the field of urology and andrology.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/hirek\/files\/2017\/06\/RS63072_IMG_5986-scr.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/hirek\/files\/2017\/06\/RS63072_IMG_5986-scr.jpg\" width=\"246\" height=\"164\" \/><\/a>Besides the theoretical lectures encompassing all areas of urology, the participants had the opportunity to observe several live surgical presentations: percutaneous and mini percutaneous nephrolithotomy (kidney stone removal), transobturator tape (TOT) sling procedure for patients suffering from incontinence, perineal surgery of the urinary tract and laparoscopic nephrectomy (kidney removal).
