Our colleagues, Dr. R\u00e9ka Kov\u00e1cs<\/strong>, Edina L\u00e1szl\u00f3-Kov\u00e1cs<\/strong>\u00a0and \u00c1gnes Makai<\/strong> on behalf of our institute, the Semmelweis University Health Services Management Training Centre Lead Partner team of the DIGI4Care Project<\/strong><\/a>, participated in the first peer-visit event<\/strong>, hosted by our partners in the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n

The highlights of the event<\/strong><\/p>\n

Partners from all participating countries visited three long-term social care facilities in the Vyso\u010dina<\/strong> region, where innovative digital tools<\/strong> – including a social robot, an interactive rehabilitation tool, and a remote monitoring device – are being tested as part of a pilot activity.<\/p>\n

By leveraging digital technologies, this pilot<\/strong> aims to revolutionize the care of individuals with dementia-related conditions, providing innovative solutions to address the growing challenges of an aging society.<\/p>\n

Our partner, the Prague University of Economics and Business<\/strong>, hosted a tour of their facility in the scenic city of Jind\u0159ich\u016fv Hradec<\/strong> and facilitated a workshop where key observations from the site visits were evaluated using the SWOT analysis method.<\/p>\n

\"Digi4Care<\/p>\n

Pilot teams in Austria<\/strong> and Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/strong> are currently testing these tools in social care facilities. The results of these activities will be documented, compared, and analysed. A key focus of the assessment will be the acceptance of the technologies by the health and social care workforce.<\/p>\n

The digital shift is driven by people – and we are proud to be part of this consortium, as Lead Partner, filled with visionary thinkers and trusted experts. Our thanks go to our Czech partners for organizing such an inspiring and fruitful series of events.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
