Name of the Master’s program:<\/strong> Master’s Program in Health Care Management Being a leader or manager is a complex responsibility at both the individual and team levels.<\/p>\n For this reason, beyond traditional classroom-based teaching, participants deepen and consolidate their existing and newly acquired knowledge through case studies and practice-oriented, real-life tasks, working together as a team<\/strong>. Throughout the program, we strive to create an educational environment and experience that reflects our commitment to a values-based, collaborative organizational culture and effective operations.<\/p>\n We seek to respond flexibly to our participants’ needs while recognizing that regular and active attendance at teaching sessions is important and expected<\/strong>. Between teaching weeks, students also work independently or in groups on assignments, supporting continuous progress<\/strong> throughout the program. Their learning is further supported by the Moodle<\/strong> e-learning platform and a range of asynchronous learning materials<\/strong> that can be completed before or after face-to-face teaching sessions.<\/p>\n A central element of the program is the Master’s Project<\/strong>, which gives students the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned in the classroom. With professional and methodological support, students can implement innovative programs or initiate and introduce new solutions within their own institution or another organization.<\/p>\n Students’ successful acquisition of knowledge and skills is assessed through assignments completed during the semester, in-class presentations, examinations, professional practice, the Master’s thesis, and the final examination.<\/p>\n The program is recommended for health care managers and professionals aspiring to leadership positions<\/strong> who wish to gain an in-depth, professional understanding of the health care system and organizational management.<\/p>\n Our aim is to train health care managers and professionals<\/strong> who can contribute to the development and renewal of the Hungarian health care system through up-to-date knowledge, systems thinking, and innovative ideas.<\/p>\n The part-time program is primarily intended for applicants with professional experience in the health care sector. Management experience<\/strong> is considered an advantage in the admission process. A strong interest in and openness to management responsibilities<\/strong> are also important, as these are essential for successful completion of the program.<\/p>\n Our students come from diverse professional backgrounds. In addition to health care professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and health care organizers, we welcome applications from lawyers, economists, managers with private-sector experience, and government officials.<\/p>\n What unites our students from these diverse professional backgrounds is their commitment<\/strong> to developing Hungarian health care and patient care, and to promoting the health of the population.<\/p>\n Throughout the program, students explore the conceptual frameworks and interrelationships of the individual subjects, the challenges faced by managers, and the management tools that support effective solutions through interactive lectures, practical sessions, individual and group work, case studies, and role-playing exercises<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We place strong emphasis on the immediate practical application of the knowledge and methods acquired during the program. Regular individual work<\/strong> is therefore also required in preparation for teaching sessions, including analyses based on students’ own organizational experience.<\/p>\n Professional experience and insight into one’s own organization are important prerequisites for this approach. \nTeaching schedule:<\/strong> The program is organized in intensive teaching blocks to enable students to combine their studies with their professional work. Each semester includes four teaching weeks, with face-to-face classes held on all five working days of each week.
