{"id":422,"date":"2014-05-22T16:35:29","date_gmt":"2014-05-22T16:35:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/borklinika\/?page_id=422"},"modified":"2018-05-04T17:36:55","modified_gmt":"2018-05-04T15:36:55","slug":"medical-attendance","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/borklinika\/en\/medical-attendance\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical attendance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Main profiles of our <strong>outpatient departments<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>general dermatology (ground floor)<\/li>\n<li>STD clinic (mezzanine)<\/li>\n<li>allergology (1st floor)<\/li>\n<li>dermatooncology (2nd floor)<\/li>\n<li>psoriasis centre (6th floor)<\/li>\n<li>dermatosurgery (6th floor)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A <strong>referral<\/strong> by a medical specialist or GP is <strong>not mandatory<\/strong> to be admitted to our clinic, however, having a referral makes it easier and faster for us to decide which outpatient department you may need if your medical condition requires special medical care. <strong>Medical attendance at our outpatient departments is\u00a0available only after making an appointment\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; except for urgent dermatological or oncological cases and HIV\/syphilis screening tests.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You can make an appointment for our general outpatient care unit at the director&#8217;s secretariat by calling + 36\u00a01 266 0471. Please have your personal data ready while calling.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Patients with urgent dermatological needs are generally awaited on weekdays between 8am &#8211; 1pm. Patients with exceptional emergency (e.g. facial swelling) or life threatening conditions are attended between 1pm &#8211; 8am on weekdays and on weekends too as long as the doctor on duty\u00a0considers the case to be a real emergency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prior registration<\/strong> at the registration desk on the ground floor is mandatory before any outpatient medical visit. <strong>A\u00a0<\/strong><strong>numbered ticket<\/strong>\u00a0has to be taken from the ticket machine at the entrance in order to be called to the desk.<\/p>\n<p>Patients can be admitted to the <strong>inpatient departments<\/strong> only after a preliminary examination at one of our outpatient facilities. Patients with subacute or chronic conditions are wait-listed.
