{"id":4774,"date":"2017-11-19T10:42:26","date_gmt":"2017-11-19T09:42:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/boe\/?p=4774"},"modified":"2017-11-19T10:42:26","modified_gmt":"2017-11-19T09:42:26","slug":"emergency-medicine-simulation-seminary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/boe\/2017\/11\/19\/emergency-medicine-simulation-seminary\/","title":{"rendered":"Emergency Medicine Simulation Seminary"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">Dear IFMSA Members,<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">SISM-Italy and Genoa Local Commitee are happy to invite you to our brand new course: \u201c<strong>Emergency Medicine Simulation Seminary<\/strong>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">This winter school will be a week long (<strong>from 22 to 26 Jan 2018<\/strong>) in our beautiful city: Genoa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">In this course we will be using advanced simulation techniques to present and train you with some simulated situation and sceneries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">We partnered with our University Center for Advanced Simulation in Medicine (SimAV <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simav.unige.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.simav.unige.it<\/a>); all the simulation are held by University of Genoa Professors, in English Language.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">The course will have a theoretical part and a practical part for every situation, and we will be using microsimulation (by specialized computer software) and macrosimulation (by hand on training in simulated emergency room)<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\"><strong>We will present you<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">different kind of suturing technique<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">vein access<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">intubation<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">ALS<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">NGS<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">Advanced surgical medication<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">Eco FAST<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">The last day we will have a module about disaster medicine, held by DisasterSISM Italian Team, trained by CRIMEDIM (International Center of Excellence in Disaster Medicine).<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">We have only 40 places, and the participation fee (350\u20ac) will cover your stay at AC Hotel 4* near university, public transportation costs, breakfast (Genoa\u2019s \u201cfocaccia and cappuccio\u201d original!), social dinners and nightouts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">The first day we organized a welcome party and on the last day there will be a formal closing ceremony (dress code alert!).<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">Every participant will receive a Certificate by University of Genoa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">For more details and registration go to: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simulatedmedicine.sism.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.simulatedmedicine.sism.org<\/a> but hurry up, more than 1 million of other students are reading this email right now!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif\">Registrations will close on the 15th on december.
