The <\/span>Winterschool Stolzalpe<\/b><\/span> is an educational program for Austrian and also international students. As the Stolzalpe Hospital is one of the largest and most developed <\/span>Orthopaedic<\/b><\/span>Departments in Austria, as well as a famous European Reference Centre for Hip and Knee surgery and Paediatric Orthopaedics, this is a great opportunity for every medical student to deepen their knowledge in this area. The one week course is based on lectures, hands-on-workshops and bedside teaching. The lectures presented by the different teams, cover the most important topics in orthopaedics including conservative therapy, radiology, physical medicine, hip-sonography for new-borns and much more. The practical workshops include knee arthroscopy on a model, plating and nailing, sewing and casting. Bedside teaching is performed with clinical examination of the different joints, patient\u2019s presentation, joining the outpatient department and the OR. The participation is <\/span>FREE<\/b><\/span>! The registration fee of only <\/span>80 Euro<\/b><\/span> covers food and accommodation. <\/span>T<\/span><\/span>ime is rushing, the <\/span>deadline<\/b><\/span> for applying is already on <\/span>30<\/b><\/span>th<\/sup><\/b><\/span> of November<\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/div>\n
