{"id":4493,"date":"2017-09-30T22:43:57","date_gmt":"2017-09-30T20:43:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/boe\/?p=4493"},"modified":"2017-09-30T22:43:57","modified_gmt":"2017-09-30T20:43:57","slug":"who-regional-office-for-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/boe\/2017\/09\/30\/who-regional-office-for-africa\/","title":{"rendered":"WHO Regional Office for Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"gmail_default\">Dear IFMSA members from Africa and all over the world,<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Together with the&nbsp;<b>World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Africa (AFRO)&nbsp;<\/b>located in Brazzaville, we are able today to provide amazing internship opportunities open to everyone to get a greater insight of the technical work of WHO.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Furthermore, the<b>&nbsp;Country Health Emergency Preparedness &amp; International Health Regulations (CPI)<\/b>&nbsp;<b>Department<\/b>&nbsp;at the WHO AFRO Office has expressed interest in having IFMSA members with technical knowledge on disaster medicine (such as graduates from the IFMSA Training Disaster Medicine Trainers programme) apply as interns. For those of you who are interested, please find attached the Terms of Reference agreed upon with the CPI Department.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">The procedure to apply is exclusively done through an online application via the new&nbsp;<b>WHO e-Recruitement System<\/b>:&nbsp;<b><a href=\"https:\/\/tl-int.vcdp.who.int\/careersection\/ex\/jobdetail.ftl?job=1702919&amp;tz=GMT%2B01%3A00\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/tl-int.vcdp.who.int\/careersection\/ex\/jobdetail.ftl?job=1702919&amp;tz=GMT%2B01%3A00<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/b>You do not need to send me any documents or notify me about your application.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">Moreover, through the above-mentioned link, you will notice that you can also apply to all other departments available in the Regional Office, should you have other areas of interest.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">This will hopefully make the WHO internship opportunities more affordable as the cost of living in Brazzaville is significantly cheaper than in Geneva.
