After a fruitful discussion with the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT), we, AECS, have achieved 10 spots for students at their next congress in Barcelona (September 24th-27th<\/b>).<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

The ESOT congress consists on a series of sessions on a wide variety of content related to transplantation and organ donation such as the newest updates in protocols or sharing educational workshops. The fee for non-members of the organization is 950\u20ac but we agreed on having a the whole fee covered<\/b> in return of delivering a half-time steward service (passing microphones, leading other participants to the rooms, etc.). Meals during the congress and a T-shirt would also be included. Transportation and hosting must be self financed, but AECS can offer some help in the search for affordable options. With this email, we would like to invite all IFMSA members from the European Region to attend the congress. Hereby we open the call for interested people. Please share it among your committees.<\/span><\/p>\n

The selection criteria<\/b> will be based on IFMSA and topic experience, the potential individual empowerment and expected outcomes (at local, national or international level). The sought AECS\/IFMSA ratio is 50\/50. The selection process will be shared between AECS and the SCOPH RA for Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n
