Based on the needs expressed during the last edition, here comes the second EMSA Online<\/span> Training on the challenging topic of Leadership<\/b>! The training is strongly recommended to every EMSA member owning or aspiring for a leadership position (eg. LC, project coordinator).<\/span><\/p>\n

Take a minute to imagine the following act:<\/p>\n

ACT 1<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

(A big business office. On the middle of the stage there is a large desk and an even larger chair. On the left side is a grey door. On the right side there is a big, silver mirror. The boss is standing in front of the mirror)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

BOSS(to him\/herself): I did it! I just did it! I got on the top of the hill! I am the boss! I am everybody’s boss! Everybody should follow my lead! (singing and humming)  Be prepared! The king undisputed, respect, saluted\u2026 Mr Th<\/span>ompson! (louder) Mr Thompson! (He\/she walks toward the door and opens it) Mr Thompson! (he\/she exits) But wait! Where is everybody? (He\/she enters) Did they leave? Did everybody leave? But then how can I do my job? How can i be leader, if nobody wants to follow my lead?<\/p>\n

Most of us at certain time are facing the challenge of a position that requires leadership skills and we are shaking in our boots and praying for everything to be fine, because we do not have the slightest idea on how to lead a team. But even if we think that we are born leaders they may be some things that we can work on.<\/span><\/p>\n

The EMSA Online Training on \u201cLeadership\u201d will show us several tools which we can use as leaders and also ways to improve ourselves on the topic.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Leadership training is going to happen on Hangouts on the 4th May at 7pm Brussels Time and will be delivered by Christina Kefalidi (TEO- Assistant). <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
