Medical Imaging – Anatomy Block
Course Aims: An anatomical introduction to modern radiological imaging techniques, with the help of special anatomical body slides and radiological sample images. Clinically-oriented review of major topics of gross anatomy necessary for better understanding classical and computer-generated images.
General Information
Anatomy Labs:
Sectional Anatomy practices during the second (spring) semester of year 2013/14 will be held in the dissecting rooms (3rd floor) of the Department of Human Morphology and Developmental Biology.
(H-1094 Budapest, Tűzoltó utca 58.) between
Weeks 2-6. (10th February – 14th March, 2014.)

Neptun Groups 9,14,15,16,17: Monday 12.00-12.30
Neptun Groups 10,11,12,13: Thursday 9.45-11.45
Neptun Groups 1,2,4,5,7:Thursday 13.00-14.30
Neptun Groups 3,6,8: Friday 14:00-15:30
Attendance of minimum 80% of sessions is required! (Maximum 1 absence can be accepted)
Written Exam: 20th March, 2014
Repeating Exam: 27th March, 2014, 18:00 for all groups

The students must be able to recognise anatomical structures on projected slides of native anatomical sections or on radiological images (X-Ray, CT, MRI, angiography etc).
For completion of the entire subject both anatomy and biophysics exams must be taken independently.
