Aimie says that in addition to the various opportunities it provides, the university also made her face several challenges that enriched her both professionally and as a person, thus as a gesture of thanks she decided to help the foundation by creating its new design free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>Aimie Fekete earlier worked on another project where they eventually decided against using her design, which was the one that in the end became the new logo of the Semmelweis University Foundation. This design involves a snake motif, which Aimie expanded into a full design package for the use of the university\u2019s foundation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/alapitvany\/files\/2019\/04\/RS90278_SEA-logo-scr-400x297.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10194 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/alapitvany\/files\/2019\/04\/RS90278_SEA-logo-scr-400x297.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"297\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/alapitvany\/files\/2019\/04\/RS90278_SEA-logo-scr-400x297.jpg 400w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/alapitvany\/files\/2019\/04\/RS90278_SEA-logo-scr-400x297-300x223.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The motif of a serpent also appears in the logo of the university\u2019s publishing company, and thus the new foundation logo acts as a \u201csibling\u201d to that logo. The snake twisting up a pole is a symbol that appears in medicine in the form of the caduceus, but it also symbolizes the campus.<\/p>\n<p>Aimie Fekete has been the editor-in-chief of <em>Szinapszis<\/em>, the journal of students of Semmelweis University, for four years, and starting learning graphic design on her own when she took over the job.
