Card payments are made through a secure online system of OTP Bank, the largest commercial bank in Hungary. The payment can be initiated automatically from the online application system (SEMAPHOR). This is the preferred route of paying the admission procedure fee.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Payment by wire transfer<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>All payments can be made by wire transfer<\/strong> to Semmelweis University\u2019s below bank account. <strong>Payments have to be made in USD.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"keretes w-100\">\n<h5>Account details of Semmelweis University are as follows:<\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><strong>Bank name:<\/strong> OTP Bank Nyrt.<br \/>\n<strong>Bank address:<\/strong> N\u00e1dor utca 6., H-1051 Budapest, Hungary<br \/>\n<strong>Account holder:<\/strong> Semmelweis University<br \/>\n<strong>Account Number (IBAN):<\/strong> HU57 11763842-00881016-00000000<br \/>\n<strong>SWIFT code (BIC):<\/strong> OTPVHUHB<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4><strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square\">\n<li>The money transfer sheet <strong>should include the name of the applicant as written in the passport<\/strong>, as well as <strong>the SEMAPHOR Application ID as a note<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>money transfer note should also include the correspondent Swift\/BIC code<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In case of paying the Application procedure fee, a scanned copy of the transfer sheet has to be uploaded into the SEMAPHOR system as proof of payment prior to submission of the application.<\/li>\n<li>The above-mentioned net amounts have to be credited to the account, i.e. all bank commission fees and other charges have to be paid by the applicant.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The date of payment is the date on which the payment is credited to the University\u2019s bank account<\/strong>, i.e. payments have to arrive to the University\u2019s bank account <strong>by the given deadline<\/strong>. Since international wire transfers may take several days, applicants are advised to initiate the wire transfer several days before the given deadline. If the above fees are not credited to our bank account by the above deadlines, applications will not be valid, and admissions will be automatically canceled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please contact the Admission Team\u2019s finance administrator at <a href=\"application.finance@semmelweis.hu\">application.finance@semmelweis.hu<\/a> to inquire about further information on payment details.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-3584\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle application-and-admission-nti payment-information-nti\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> When are my payments due?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<h2><span style=\"color: #b3a16e\">Payment information for the candidates of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences<\/span><\/h2>\n<h5>Admission Procedure Fee: USD 350<\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">The Admission Procedure Fee is payable upon application.<\/p>\n<h5>Deposit: USD 2 000<\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">Applicants admitted to the university have to pay a non-refundable deposit of 2 000 USD within 14 days after the<br \/>\nnotification of admittance. This amount will be deducted from the first semester\u2019s tuition fee.<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<h5>Enrollment fee: USD 220<\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">The enrollment fee is payable together with the tuition fee after acceptance.\u00a0<strong>The first semester\u2019s tuition fee <\/strong>(minus the amount of the deposit) and <strong>the enrollment fee<\/strong> has to be paid <strong>before August 21. Admitted applicants who need to apply for a student visa<\/strong> may be required to pay the tuition fee for the first one or two semester(s) <strong>before the visa application may be processed<\/strong>. Further details will be provided in the letter of admission.<\/p>\n<p><i><span id=\"page67R_mcid48\"><span class=\"markedcontent\"><span role=\"presentation\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><i><span id=\"page67R_mcid49\"><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-806\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle application-and-admission-nti application-etk\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> Is there a GPA minimum requirement for application or admission?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>There is none. For admission to the English Language Programs of Semmelweis University, an entrance examination has to be taken. The decision is based on the candidate\u2019s biography, previous studies and performance, and primarily on the assessment of the entrance examination.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-812\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle application-and-admission-nti application-etk\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> Are there any standardized tests acceptable instead of the entrance examination?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>No, there aren&#8217;t. For admission to the English Language Programs of Semmelweis University, the University&#8217;s own entrance examination has to be taken.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-809\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle application-and-admission-nti application-etk\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> Can a parent, teacher or friend discuss my application with the University?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>According to GDPR, we are not authorized to share our applicants\u2019 personal data with third parties. Nevertheless, the applicants may involve their relatives in their correspondence with the University.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-815\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle application-and-admission-nti\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> What do you expect from an applicant? What kind of applicants are you looking for?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>We are looking for highly motivated students with a strong basic knowledge in natural sciences and an English language proficiency, who are determined to become experts in the field of <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/admission\/programs\/medicine\/\">Medicine<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/admission\/programs\/dentistry\/\">Dentistry<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/admission\/programs\/pharmaceutical-sciences\/\">Pharmaceutical Sciences<\/a>. We put a great emphasis on selecting outstanding applicants for enrollment and training. Therefore, we persist on undertaking <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/admission\/process\/entrance-exam-medicine-dentistry-and-pharmaceutical-sciences\/\"><strong>complex entrance examinations composed of written tests and personal interviews<\/strong><\/a>, which allow us to reliably evaluate the knowledge, skills, motivation and personality of the applicants.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-817\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle application-and-admission-nti application-etk\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> What does the waiting list mean?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>If an applicant is placed on the waiting list it means that the performance at the entrance examination was not good enough to get admitted straight away, yet the Admission Board is ready to reconsider his\/her admission if vacant student positions are available at the end of the admission period.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-808\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle application-and-admission-nti application-etk\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> Do you accept applicants with Hungarian citizenship?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Hungarian citizens are welcome to join the English language program, provided that they obtained their secondary education diploma outside of Hungary. Based on the position of the Ministry for Innovation and Technology, dual citizens may apply to our English Language Programs too.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-819\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle application-and-admission-nti\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> Do I need to learn Hungarian?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Hungarian Language as a subject is included in the curricula of our English language training programs.
