<\/a>The primary goal of the\u00a0 Students’ Scientific Association<\/a><\/strong> is to provide an opportunity for every student to get involved in research and to gain experience at Hungarian and international conferences. The Students’ Scientific Association is a platform for self-instruction and scholar training: Talented students are aided by outstanding teachers and researchers to get an insight into scientific life during their studies. The program enables students to build personal and professional relationships that prepare them for their scientific career. Nearly all of the university’s departments and clinics take part in the talent support program.<\/p>\nKerpel-Fronius Talent Support Program<\/h2>\n
The Jellinek Harry Scholarship<\/strong> is run by the Kerpel-Fronius Program, which provides the opportunity for six students per year to study at the universities of Heidelberg and Freiburg. The university’s foundation sponsors seven students per year for their outstanding scientific, cultural and public activities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The college regularly organizes courses aimed at acquiring the additional knowledge needed for research work, and also provides direct mentoring and research opportunities in its work groups. In addition, it treats interdisciplinary cooperation and support for involvement in cross-border research as a high priority. Semmelweis University’s outstanding teachers and researchers volunteer to become mentors and are responsible for exceptionally talented students’ academic advancement, support, and application for the scholarship. <\/a>The activity of the Ign\u00e1c Semmelweis College for <\/strong>Advanced <\/strong>Studies<\/strong><\/a> (SISZK in short) is aimed at enlarging the base of young researchers at Semmelweis University. In addition to providing housing for admitted students, the professional college organizes and operates the professional patronage system available to members, furthermore it faciliates the academic career path of the participants by means of community building.<\/p>\n
