Gabriel P. HAAS, MD
FACS is Medical Director of Urology, Astellas Global Development, Inc, Previously, for the past 15 years, he has been Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, New York. He is an internationally recognized clinician, researcher, educator and lecturer. An author of over 170 scientific papers and book chapters, his main research contributions have been in the area of the
Epidemiology of Prostate Cancer, Autopsy Studies, and the Immunotherapy of Renal Cell Carcinoma. He has received the highly prestigious degree of Doctor Honoris Causa from Semmelweis University in Hungary, and is a honorary member of the Peruvian and Hungarian Urological Associations. He served as President of the Hungarian Medical Association of America, and of the Northeastern Section of the American Urological Association.
