the study of Laboratory Medicine has changed as part of the new curriculum. In addition to theoretical lectures, this year there will be practical training as well, within the framework of and harmonization with the Internal Medicine study blocks. The aim of practices and associated discussions related to clinical case reports is the presentation how laboratory investigations support clinical decision making.
This academic year the lectures of Laboratory Medicine will be conducted in a blended learning program using the e-learning system. The study material and test exam can be accessed from any computer through the internet. It is mandatory to complete the theoretical material, however, it can be completed at any time during the official academic year (from the end of September, 2019 to July 17, 2020), even in divided installments.
The practices will be held on Fridays from 1 pm to 3:30 pm. Presence is mandatory and we can only accept absence as stipulated in our study and examination rules. Make-up classes are possible by prior arrangement.
The practices will be attended by students from two groups at the same time (e.g. EM1 and EM2 on 8 November), but the training will take place in 3 different rooms in the NET building, as follows:
Time: Friday, between 13h-1530h

In addition, a visit to the Central Laboratory Department will be organized at Üllői út78/a, Korányi building Floor 1.
