Dr. Tivadar Tulassay, on behalf of Semmelweis University, and Dr. Jack Brian, on behalf of Boston University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Budapest on April 17, 2008. The aim of the agreement is to promote cooperation between the two universities in the field of family medicine. On the basis of the agreement, two freshly graduated Hungarian family physicians may start their one year postgraduate training at Boston University, School of Medicine in 2009. The agreement was concluded with the contribution of the Hungarian Medical Association of America.
